认为夏天 is looking forward to another exciting season at Albuquerque Academy! There are hundreds of individual classes and summer camps to choose from, geared toward students entering kindergarten through 12th grade.

自1984年以来, Albuquerque Academy’s summer program has provided Albuquerque-area families with a wide variety of summer options for children in grades pre-K to pre-12 in a safe and nurturing environment. 认为夏天 is a remarkable, one-of-a-kind summer experience for children in pre-grades K-12. During our summer program, we offer flexible summer camp/class options for every type of schedule. Whether your child would like to enjoy a full day, 半天, or just one or two classes, there are many fun and enriching options for your family to explore.

Learning and development isn’t a static process. It’s dynamic and happens year-round, not just during the school year. Enrolling your child in 认为夏天 ensures that academic and developmental concepts learned during the school year are solidified and gives your child a head start in concepts they may learn in the grade they are entering. Through academic enrichment and recreational options to camps and classes and everything in between, your child will have all the tools they need to succeed and be engaged while keeping their minds sharp and their bodies active.

ALL classes and summer camps assemble Monday-Friday, regardless of a single class or full-day student registration.
认为夏天 is based on a seven-period day (8:10 a.m.-3:30 p.m.; lunch period from 12:05-12:40 p.m.). Families may choose as many or as few individual classes, full- or half-day summer camps, 块时间, or a combination (up to seven periods) for their student(s) and may also add extended care as needed.
Pre-grade k3 students are supervised at all times, being transitioned to each class/camp, including lunch and extended care options.

Looking for a summer job with a consistent schedule that still leaves time to enjoy your break? 每年夏天, 认为夏天 hires hundreds of local students to help make our summer program a success.
The hiring process begins in the winter with online applications. Prospective student employees are encouraged to showcase any extracurricular activities or special interests on their applications that may qualify them for certain programs. All first-time student applicants require a teacher recommendation and an interview to be considered for employment. Interviews for new applicants are held in March.

Summer at Albuquerque Academy is not only a time for students to explore their special interests but also an opportunity for faculty to experiment with new, creative teaching techniques in a relaxed environment. With a wide range of enrichment, 艺术, and athletic programs, there is room for every teaching specialty.
